Fouetté Wood Creations

Wood is one of the oldest materials used by humanity in the creation of shelter, furnishings, utensils, transportation and art.

As a recently (January, 2022) retired IT Professional I have turned my energies towards woodworking as both a functional and artistic medium. Working with computers does not provide a great deal of creative outlet while working with wood has been great for the exploration of forms, materials, colours and structures.

Fouetté Wood Creations is named for a whip-spinning movement in ballet as well as the spinning motion of wood on a lathe. Creating beauty from this spinning motion in both arts. Spinning Wood Beautifully.
